The intent of a resolution is to not be the overarching policy of the organization but to apply to a specific issue, project or campaign. An example would be a resolution of support for the removal of dams to restore watersheds that are important habitats and supply clean water and beach sediments to the coast. Such a resolution clarifies the Surfrider Foundations role regarding watershedrestoration.
