Help Us Ban Bags in NYC and Let’s Start With the Queens Library

The Queens County Library had a circulation of 23 million in 2009.

The Queens County Library is almost completely taxpayer funded by every NYC taxpayer.

The Queens County Library offers a plastic bag to each person checking out a book, CD or DVD.

The other libraries in NY do not give out plastic bags.

Help us stop the Queens County Library from spending our tax money on plastic bags by clicking here http://action.surfrider.org/p/dia/action/public/?action_KEY=5719
