Christine manages Surfrider’s Marketing and Communications, which includes content creation, email marketing, event support, and campaign promotions, to increase awareness, action and support for the protection of our ocean, waves and beaches.

Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Christine has lived in Boulder, Beijing, London, and New York. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University and a Master of Science degree from Columbia University.

A dedicated outdoor sports enthusiast, Christine taught skiing in Colorado and chased her first wave as a novice surfer in Bocas del Toro, Panama. She leverages her passion for clean water, healthy beaches, and marine conservation to help protect the world’s most sacred places for this and future generations.
