The New York City Chapter had a great time in Washington DC for our annual Coastal Recreation Hill Day! We joined 150 members and activists of Surfrider Foundation on March 8, 2023 to speak with our elected officials on coastal and climate issues, and to support critical environmental legislation. The New York City Chapter met with 9 representatives, a day packed with great meetings and conversations. We're already looking forward to next year's Hill Day and to keep advocating to protect our oceans and beaches.
