Recap: Surfrider NYC at Yelp Helps – Sept. 24, 2013

Surfrider NYC was stoked to be invited to the first ever Manhattan “Yelp Helps” event on September 24th at the  WIX Lounge. Yelp Helps brought out good people and great food in support of awesome charities working around NYC. Two of our Surfrider team members, John and Ashley, donned fedoras for the night’s theme “Get Fedorable for a Cause.”

Attendees at the event were able to peruse the tables of various nonprofit groups throughout the city. Those who stopped by our table learned about our new Blue Water Task Force campaign, got updated on our efforts with BagItNYC, and were invited to boogie at our upcoming Clean Water 80s Themed FUNdraiser.
