The New York City Chapter had a great time at RISE's first dune planting for the Greater Rockaway Coastal Enhancement Plan! This project is to enhance dunes along the Rockaway Peninsula to provide flood protection for the local community. We planted bayberry, serviceberry, Carolina rose and Virginia creeper.
