We celebrated our annual “Hands Across the Sand” event with Benny’s Club on May 21st at Rockaway Beach. This national event is to say no to fossil fuels and yes to clean energy.
We gathered on the beach to join hands to show our opposition to offshore drilling and fossil fuels. Then, we cleaned the beach afterwards! We collectively cleaned up 1,101 pieces of trash. Check out these pictures of all the trash we collected and this really cool video below.
