In its 3rd year, the
Rising Tide… Surf Causes Event brings together surf-related charitable organizations and companies from across the country in a spirit of collaboration. The nonprofits Setting Sail at this year’s event:

+ Warm Current
+ WAVES for Development
+ Waves for Water
+ Waves of Health
The goal is not only to raise awareness and financial support for the new breed of surf-related social and environmental causes represented here, but also facilitate collaboration with media and businesses alike.
This year’s event, to be held at the Brooklyn Brewery on February 7, will feature a DJ, raffle items (the list of items grows), snacks, and gift bags for the first 100 people to get a ticket. Attendees can sample some fantastic local brews through discounted token purchase. Tokens: $5 or 5 for $20. Tickets $30 at the door. Proceeds benefit all participating nonprofits.
Guests ares encouraged to stop by tables showcasing each organization’s work and get involved.
