Yes, its late notice, but we are able to install a series of cigarette butt receptacles this Saturday, July 9 along Rockaway Beach. This in important step in the Surfrider Founation’s campaign to spread the word that smoking on the beach is prohibited — and dropping butts on the beach is littering.
Helping hands are needed at Beach 86th St. at 11 for install and clean up. See you at the (soon to be cleaner) beach!
